Still Life - Watermelon and Still Life - Orange - to the 2° Twitter Art Exhibit in Moss, Norway

Since David  @davidsandumart  invited me to the 2° Twitter Art Exhibit in Moss I decided I wanted to do and to share something that was very special for me. I wanted to share some of our family life, sending good vibrations.
A few months ago my family and I, we moved to a house  plenty of green space where we begin to grow fruits and vegetables which has been a great pride for us.
Each new fruit or vegetable  is a harvest celebration, joy, always recorded in photos.
One day a small and first orange fell from the tree... it was very sweet though a tiny fruit. I felt a great pleasure and excitement to be gifted by nature ... and so, was born the idea of still life photos ... And the art to #twitterartexhibit
I printed the photos of our first orange and watermelon .... both so sweet, so tasty.
I used the leaves of a book that my daughter bought me at the Metropolitan Museum  of Art - NY (also very special to me wich I only use in specials ocasions)
In acrylic paint, the colors inspired by the many flowers that we planted and the circles were made with the  very sweet orange.
It certainly left its juice particles on the paper ... and that was my intention...an artwork with tiny drops born in our soil, to Norway from here in the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. As result, 2 still  lifes full of meanings for my family that we want to share with Twitter Art Exhibit for The Women's Crisis Center in Moss with enormous pleasure.

I hope will be a piece of joy between so many great and wonderful artworks from the entire planet.

Blessing David  Sandum for his great and generous idea and hard work
